Free tool · runs in your browser
Find problems in your product CSV before they reach your customers.
Choose a product export and see where listings contradict themselves, repeat, or carry invalid barcodes and implausible weights. Your file is never uploaded — the analysis happens on your own device.

Green Tea 500 g (fictional product)
- Title says
- 500 g
- Size column says
- 250 g
The tool shows that two fields disagree. It cannot know which one is right — that is for you to check.
What it looks for
- Barcodes (GTIN/UPC/EAN) that fail the check-digit rule, or are used by two different products
- Duplicate SKUs and duplicate titles; empty or placeholder descriptions; missing or zero prices
- A title that says “500 g” or “12 pack” while a size or pack-size column says something else
- Weights that do not fit the dimensions (a likely typo or unit mix-up), zero weights or dimensions, one identical “default” weight on many products
How privacy works
The tool is a web page with a small script. When you choose a file, your browser reads it and shows the result; the file is not sent anywhere. You can verify this yourself: open your browser's developer tools, watch the Network tab while you run the tool, and see that no file or cell content leaves your computer. The site counts anonymous usage (see the privacy notice).
What it cannot do
It looks only inside your file. It can show that two fields contradict each other — not which is correct — and it cannot compare against a manufacturer or product database. Everything it reports is a candidate to check, not a confirmed error, and a clean result does not prove a catalog is accurate.
About this site
Catalog Audit is an early experiment by BOS Executive Partners. A human-reviewed audit service is being explored but is not available; this site takes no orders and collects no contact details. More about the project.
